911 Medical ID Card

911 Medical ID Card brings new piece of mind to you if you are ever unable to speak for yourself. Picture this. You are driving on a beautiful day and under unfortunate circumstances, become involved in a car accident. Not withstanding the other car, you, and your family are rendered unconscioncious. Your child regains consciousness, but obviously cant tell the EMT's, Paramedics, Doctors and Nurses a thing about you except that you are mommy and daddy.

Well the 911 Medical ID Card will do just that.The credit sized card holds a tool used by many. It is a 1 gig flash drive that will hold your important medical data. The first responders will see this in your wallet and hopefully hand it over to the hospital staff on arrival.

It is fully compatible (as tested) with Windows Vista SP2, Windows 7 and Windows XP SP2. Also (as you can see in the slide show), it allows you to upload your info to a secure account as well as edit it there and download it to the card. It is a true plug and play device with no install necessary, so a hospital staff member will have full and immediate access to the information that could save your life if you can not speak to save it.

It takes up one credit card slot, but can prove its worth of higher than any credit limit. Personally, as a former EMT, the writer can see the value and would have easily used this technology if it were available in the mid 1980's. Many lives can be saved and/or treatment can begin so much faster with proper health and history information being present.

Another great use is putting the data on it for adults and children with cognitive disabilities, alzheimers, develepmental disabilities, etc.  This can be put in their wallets, pocket books, backpacks, etc. In this case, it is also a safety device as well.
