The 2010 International Consumer Electronic Show is going to be hitting new heights compared to last year. In an earlier (yesterday) article, we detailed CEA's CEO Gary Shapiro and his resounding happiness over what is expected to be a record breaking attendance. Highlights are said to be Apps, Green Technologies, Location Based Services and Gaming, all of which you can find on the Internet and Technology Examiners Column.
Via Business Wire, Gary Shapiro himself said;
"With a record number of new exhibitors, scores of new product introductions, several new Spotlights on the show floor and a dynamic lineup of keynotes sessions, the 2010 International CES will be our best show yet. More technology deals will be made during
the four days of CES than anywhere else on earth. In fact, each CES attendee has an average of 12 meetings while at the show, reinforcing CES as the business hub for technology. Innovation is flourishing within the technology industry and the 2010 CES is the only place to see it all"
As of 0-DARK-15 (time of receipt of the release), attendance is planning to be over 2500 exhibitors with over 330 new companies. That is the greatest jump in new attendance in many years. If you want to see the best, you have to attend the best.
