I'm sure there are still a few folks who still care that the America's Cup sailboat races, the oldest active trophy in international sports, is scheduled to begin on February 8th in Valencia, Spain. There has been a two plus year battle in the courts between the defender Alinghi of Switzerland and the challenger BMW/Oracle Racing of the USA. I covered the 32nd AC event in Valencia and have been following the proceedings of the 33rd cup for the last couple years. I'm not convinced the event will even take place as scheduled and if it does, I believe the loser will take the matter back into the court system for some infraction the winner may or may not have committed.
The news out today is that for the first time in the history of the cup races, the races will be broadcast live on the internet. Should the races start on the 8th of February, you can have a free front row seat to what should be the most spectacular sailboat race in cup history. So if you can't get to Valencia, Spain, have Valencia come to you at www.americascup.com.

For an event which should be about sailing, this event seems to be always about rules and court decisions.
