AC Milan Struggles

David Beckham was relegated to substitute player status as his team AC Milan struggled to a draw at Bologna.

The England star was replaced by Mancini, who was signed on loan from rival team Inter this week.

Beckham went back into the game with 11 minutes left.  Both teams ended in a scoreless draw.

Earlier this week, AC Milan earned a draw with struggling Livorno, a team that it should have beaten.

AC Milan has had its disctractions recently.  Ronaldinho denied he had held a three-night party in the lead-up to the Inter game.  Additionally, team owner Silvio Berlusconi said he was surprised at the loan signing of Mancini.  Worse, he stated that he disagreed with the move.
