An Indonesia volcano, Mount Sinabung erupted Sunday and has continued through Monday; two people are dead and 30,000 people are being evacuated. This is the first time in 400 years that the 8,000 foot high mountain has erupted; Mount Sinabung is located is located in northern Sumatra.
Two deaths have been reported because of the eruptions, and both had respiratory complications and then a heart attack, reported the National Disaster Management Agency of Indonesia.
An ask cloud of over 3 miles high has formed above the volcano, and visibility is low in the area. Smaller aircraft was diverted near the area, and if the volcano continues to erupt, officials said that larger aircraft may need to be rerouted.
Monday, the number of people who are being evacuated rose to 30,000.
