Alvin Alleyne was born in Texas, but moved to Panama when he was twelve years old. Upon his return to the U.S., he earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science with a minor in Spanish Studies from Texas Tech University in 1994. Alvin joined the U.S. Army in 1997 and became a soldier for the next four years while also beginning graduate studies towards a Master of Arts Degree in International Relations from Webster University. After working in the US Department of State briefly for three months, and the US Department of Homeland Security for four years, he would like to inform the public about international issues that concern Dallas-Fort Worth.
