Whether it's painting, sewing or carpentry Vicki enjoys the feeling of accomplishment she gets when creating. She took on the title of 'Decorative Artist,' about nine years ago when she learned the trade of the faux finisher. Vicki started her instruction at the North American School Of Decorative Arts in Chicago where many world renowned 'International Salon of Decorative Painting' guest instructors have taught. In 2005 she took first place in the Sherwin Williams Faux Event contest in Chicago. In 2007 she collaborated with five other artists painting an 8' x 75' mural in City Park, New Orleans as part of the Katrina restoration effort.
