Sappho Aviva Flores holds a PhD in English and has published articles and conducted academic research in areas of cognitive and linguistic psychology and gender theory. Currently, she is co-authoring a book that seeks to redefine the concept of infidelity and, in the process, breach the dangerous but desirable social undercurrent of daring to transgress and question social norms. She is a proponent of woman as seductress: Unafraid of her own desire, she indulges in striving for an unmitigated joy in living that exemplifies seduction as being not about the self, but opening up to the reception of others.
