Local Singer/Songwriter David Guilbault will be performing live this Friday, May 15th, 8pm, at the Wayward Coffeehouse in Greenwood. Joining David will be multi-instrumentalist T-Bone Savoy.
Celebrating the release of his album True As Blue, Friday's performance is sure to be an intimate experience with an artist who is dedicated to honest expression in his work as a songwriter. As stated in his bio, "Truth needs to be told. David Guilbault is a performing songwriter, singing intimate, heartfelt songs of truth, love and life." Indeed such a credo is requisite for folk music worth it's salt, and David does indeed live up to the high standards of artistic work he has set for himself.

The songs included on True As Blue resonate with heartfelt abandon, reminiscent of such folk troubadours as Gordon Lightfoot, Tom Rush, and Fred Neil. The solo acoustic performances entrance with gentle melodies and stories of inner struggle and redemption. Simple and raw, the entire album was recorded in one take at Jack Straw Studios, and currently ranks #1 on the ReverbNation Seattle Folk music chart.

Listen to tracks from the album on ReverbNation, and join David's mailing list to be notified of the many additional upcoming performances. Enjoy some organic coffee and vegetarian/vegan treats while you experience a sure to be memorable performance.
