Indie rock staples Spoon recently announced they have pushed up the release date of their upcoming album, Transference. Before, the album was scheduled to hit at the end of January (25th), but the date has changed to January 19. Merge will handle the North American release while Anti- manages Europe, which will see Transference one day later than the U.S.
The week-or-so difference may not be earthshattering, but it is nonetheless good news for Spoon fans.
Along with the album, they also have a tour scheduled beginning in December that will cover some awfully disparate locations. Thanks to pitchfork.com for the date listings.
