Search ends for missing Wicker Park musician

The search ends for a musician missing from a Wicker Park home last week after an argument with his girlfriend when the 31 year old Louisiana born man was found in a Near Northwest Side Neighborhood with no clear cause of what caused his death.
Charles Cooper was part of the electronic duo
Telefon Tel Aviv with band mate Joshua Eustis and had contributed to several projects including remixes for
Nine Inch Nails and other bands as well as writing the score for the film “
New Port South” and currently had been planning for a US and European tour in support of a new album.
Cooper went missing last Wednesday after a fight with his girlfriend and had been staying with a friend in near the 1400 block of N. Milwaukee Ave in the early hours of January 21, and had since had no contact with family or friends said police. Cooper’s body was found Monday in the 2300 block of North Lawndale Ave and autopsy was scheduled to determine the cause of death.
According the
Sun-Times, there it is reported Cooper had a history of threatening suicide but no such threats were reported during the time he had been missing.
