a review by Mathew Szymanowski
“The Things We Carry” is a personal film based on real events. It is a drama. It is story about two very different sisters, set in Los Angeles, yet starts in East Asia...
Mathew Szymanowski studied humanities at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, directing at the National Polish Film School and is currently at the graduate program in cinema at San Francisco State. He enjoys a good movie, whether it's a Hollywood blockbuster, a foreign flick or something cultish. All a good film must have is something to pull in the veiwer and there are many ways a film can do that.
