Some time ago, Durham-based indie filmmaker Ajit Anthony Prem was perusing the internet for a photographer to profile in a short documentary. The thought of someone traveling, exploring and capturing those moments in time as the basis of their work held tremendous appeal for him. He wanted to know more. Kathleen Connally's photoblog, http://www.durhamtownship.com/, looked promising.
Prem immediately found himself drawn to Connally’s work. Most of the photoblogs he was coming across online had an urban slant. Connally’s, by contrast, was refreshingly rural. And it stood to reason, since the Durham Township that Connally calls home is nestled in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. With Prem already hooked on her work, the trip was inevitable. Prem's wife joined him for the trip.
With photography viewed as the business of capturing reality, Connally has drawn criticism for some of the highly stylized work that she produces. She shrugs it off, holding steady to her belief that reality and her subjective eye can, and should, co-exist in her work.
Prem leaves it to the viewer to decide.

It was a great article. I like the way Kathleen and Ajit capture nature. It gave the serenity of nature and the beauty. What a nice film. Thanks for sharing this with us Al.
