Indianapolis Colts WR Reggie Wayne
Indianapolis Colts WR Reggie Wayne and DE Dwight Freeney are active for the Colts' game against San Francisco.
Freeney, a four-time Pro Bowl selection, practiced Friday after missing Wednesday and Thursday with a knee injury, and Wayne -- a three-time Pro Bowl selection -- also practiced Friday after missing Wednesday and Thursday. Each is in the starting lineup.
The Colts' inactive list:
K Adam Vinatieri, WR Anthony Gonzalez, CB T.J. Rushing, CB Marlin Jackson, RB Donald Brown, C Jamey Richard and LT Tony Ugoh.
A surprise inactive is Rushing. He is typically the team's punt returner and was not on the injury report this week. S Jamie Silva and CB Jerraud Powers were working catching punts in pregame.
With Brown out, look for starter Joseph Addai to get more carries than normal this week for the Colts. Second-year veteran Chad Simpson likely will be the backup. One other notable from the pregame inactive: OT Tony Ugoh, the starter at left tackle the past two seasons. He is inactive for the third time this season. LT Charlie Johnson moved into the starting lineup in the offseason.
