Presidential Hypocrisy: Obama touts tax dollars not 'Monopoly money'

Calling for end of "Monopoly" money spending (AP/Susan Walsh)

Not since Bill Clinton’s: “I did not have sex with…” or Richard Nixon’s “I am not a crook” statement has Presidential hypocrisy been on such public display.

At the first SAVE Award presentation, President Obama today actually had the gall to state:

“we can't continue to spend as if deficits don't have consequences; as if waste doesn't matter; as if the hard-earned tax dollars of the American people can be treated like Monopoly money.”

Not only did he say the above with a straight face, he said it just days after  signing a $1.1 TRILLION dollar budget busting behemoth that contained over 5,000 earmarks (the he promised during the campaign he would eliminate) and only hours after sell out Senators passed a health care “reform” bill that uses every budget gimmick in the political pouch to show shadow “savings” that will never materialize.

This President has done more “Monopoly money” spending of tax dollars and racked up larger budget deficits than any President in the history of the republic yet the White House press corps continues to just echo whatever statement comes out of the White House as the “truth of the day”.

If Obama was forced to abide by the same rules as those applied by the government’s own truth in advertising regulations, the White House counsel’s office would be dealing with more complaints than there are Congressmen (and women) willing to sell their votes for political blow. (Trust me, that’s a LOT)

But the truly, most laughable moment was seeing the supposedly most powerful man on the planet, tell the most whopper of a lie to date:

“After years of irresponsibility, we are once again taking responsibility for every dollar we spend, the same way families do.”

Sorry, Mr. President, but the last time I looked, American families know you can't spend your way out of debt, American families can’t print trillions of dollars out of thin air, and American families know that when the checkbook doesn’t balance, spending MUST be cut. (Unlike that last bill you signed that INCREASED department budgets an average of ten percent.)

Someday Mr. President, you need to decide whether you’re going to be a responsible leader or a Monopoly money manager.

Hopefully that day comes soon, and hopefully by then you’re tired of Monopoly.

Our fiat currency IS MONOPOLY MONEY! Hello?!? The dollar has NOTHING backing it expect for the so called "word" of our Treasury department and Fed telling us and the world is has value. Any actual value of the dollar was flushed down the toilet when the Federal Reserve Act was passed and we ended the gold standard and handed over all currency creation to a group of unelected, offshore banking gangsters.

Bernanke is the most powerful man (crook) in the world because he can "create" money out of thin air simply by turning on the presses. Congress has NO oversight whatsoever and has no clue what happens behind the Fed's closed doors.

If we want to stop this blatant disregard for American people and the Constitution we need to AUDIT THE FED. Once that happens and the world sees just how corrupt and debased these oligarchs are, Congress can then wrestle back the ability to create currency again.

Every time our President isolates and attacks a corporate villain it turns out that the "villain" makes out better than before the "intervention."

GM made out with a screamin' deal! AIG made out like a bandit (forgive the pun). Those bad boys at Gitmo are sure gonna get it! Those horrible insurance companies will now have an insurance policy for every American forcibly by law!

Watch the outcome next time a "villain" gets isolated.
