The 9/11 truth movement, comprised of various professional and grassroots organizations such as Architects and Engineers for 9/11 truth, We are Change, Patriots Question 9/11 and victims families like the Jersey Girls have made one thing clear in recent months: they are not going to fall into the memory hole of history.
Last month, Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth held a press conference at the Mariner's Club & Hotel in San Francisco, CA, USA. The organization announced that they have received more than 1,000 signatures from architects and engineers around the world demanding a new, truly independent investigation of the facts regarding the events of Sept. 11, 2001, saying that the conclusions drawn by the 911 Commission reek of cover-up and are not supported by facts.
The newsworthy item here is not that 70 million Americans are questioning the official story of 9/11, or that it may be a conspiracy theory, or that people involved in the 9/11 commission report such as Bob Kerry have publically stated that "it is a 30 year old conspiracy." What is newsworthy is simply that the movement is now getting some coverage in the mainstream media in the U.S., and relatively more coverage in European media.
The Washington Times, owned by Rev. Sun Moon Myung and considered politically right of other publications in D.C., covered the story with an article by Jennifer Harper. According to an essay by Elizabeth Woodworth, writing for Global Research:
In the past year, in response to emerging independent science on the 9/11 attacks, nine corporate, seven public, and two independent media outlets aired analytic programs investigating the official account. Increasingly, the issue is treated as a scientific controversy worthy of debate, rather than as a "conspiracy theory" ignoring science and common sense.
A large part of the "scientific controversy" that has been raised was the result of a peer-reviewed scientific study published in the Open Chemical Physics Journal in April of 2009 that found traces of a a high-tech, active thermitic military-grade explosive known as nano-thermite in three distinct samples of dust collected at the WTC site.
While the 9/11 truth movement does not make any claims regarding theories as to what really happened that day, the various organizations that comprise the movement do call for a new, independent investigation. So, who would do that?
One thing for certain is that it will not be the corporate media. The "big" stories are distractions such as Tiger Wood's affair, Sen. Bunning's filibuster, or anything that pops up like a balloon boy or a Fruit of the Boom bomber. Never mind that at least 10 eyewitnesses that may have pertinent information as to what really happened on 9/11 have mysteriously died, including:
- Barry Jennings, former New York housing authority emergency coordinator, who reported that he had been blown back big explosions in WTC 7, claimed to have stepped over bodies on his way out of the building.
- Beverly Eckert, who lost her husband on 9/11 and did not believe the official story. She declined monetary compensation from the U.S. government for her loss and instead filed a lawsuit against the U.S. and Saudi governments. She died in a commuter plane crash in Buffalo, NY on Feb. 19th, 2009, a week after meeting with President Obama.
- Kenneth Johannemann, a janitor in WTC 1 who reported hearing massive explosions in the basement of the towers and rescuing someone from the basement who had massive full body burns.
- Bertha Champagne, babysitter for Marvin Bush's family. Marvin Bush was the director of Securacom/Stratesec in the months before 9/11, the Saudi and Kuwaiti-financed company that provided security for the WTC complex and Dulles international airport where Flight 77 took off from. On Oct. 10th, 2003, Bertha was found crushed to death by her own vehicle in front of the Bush family home.
- Deborah Palfrey, the infamous "D.C. madam" who claimed her call girls were chaufferred to poker parties hosted by Porter Goss, former CIA director and co-chair of the joint 9/11 intelligence inquiry. On the morning of 9/11, Goss was reported to have had breakfast with Gen. Mahmud Ahmed, head of Pakistan's ISI, who was reported to have wired $100K to the alleged lead hijacker, Mohammed Atta. Deborah allegedly committed suicide after saying she would not do that on a nationally syndicated radio show.
An ad hoc compilation of these mysterious deaths has recently been put together in a you tube video by "kevin604bc." It's not exactly first class journalism, but is well worth the ten minutes to watch. Any one of the above would probably make a "big" story in the corporate media.
The mainstream media could be waking up to the fact that Americans are ready to hear the truth about 9/11, but I doubt that. All media is ad-driven and only if the corporate executives that own media think they can get more viewers to watch the ads that they sell by airing controversial topics like 9/11, then they may do that. That scenario is a little more likely, but still doubtful, especially if ads can be sold airing crap like CNN's Rick Sanchez who couldn't find Hawaii on an interactive map, or Glenn Beck who probably should just off himself on national television for better ratings.
The reality may be that the 9/11 truth movement is gaining ground and getting some attention - not only in the abstract and little-known world of academia, but also in the collective consciousness of most Americans. People that are content to watch American Idol, or any other idiotic thing that the networks throw at them also may have legitimate questions as to why they are being led in the direction that our government has chosen for them. The situation may be getting to the point where the media can no longer ignore what drives our so-called leaders to continue moving down the path of destruction.
If that is the case, it is about time. Nearly every piece of big-spending and/or freedom-taking legislation, including two wars, FICA, the PATRIOT Act and almost everything that has brought this country to the brink of collapse has been justified as a response to what happened on 9/11. Perhaps even the media realizes that it is time for the American people to know the truth. If all that takes is a real independent investigation, then let's have one.

The truth movement has never flagged. What I've witnessed is that once someone becomes a truther they never go back, and the movement has never stopped growing. It's like a creeping shadow, slowing heading for Washington.
Yes, and it will continue moving along, as well it should.
No one will benefit, ultimately, from the horror of 9/11. The only way to deter those few who were responsible from perpetrating further horrors on humanity is to explore what happened that day and to expose those responsible.
I think it is time for us to put this incident behind us and huddle together in prayer - thank our God no one of importance died that day and get on with our lives. We must continue to target Iran and its minions who are the platform from which this evil spews. Let us join with our warrior Presidents to make the war on terror and freedom as much of a success as our war on drugs!! Power to the Correct people - not the loonies!!

Most Americans do not want to hear the truth and willingly believe the most absurd lies, in the form of the official report, rather than face that truth. It will be nearly a century before the truth becomes common knowledge, long after the willfully ignorant majority are long dead.
Yesterday, C-SPAN offered an insight into how politicos will nest isolated little tidbits of fact in order to preserve the false facade of virtue. Some dork senator from Kentucky is retiring (I guess the unused residuals in his campaign `n bribes chest are sufficient and that Lobbying Job at Blackwater is promising), but before he leaves he feigns conservatism with lots of TV fan fair by claiming he cannot support extending unemployment benefits.
We must understand that both parties voted for outsourcing giveaways to US flagged corporations and both parties voted to fund the never ending wars.
So, Kentucky Senator Dork gets lambasted by some pretentious neo-liberal for not being as duty minded on no-bid contracts in Iraq as he is regarding unemployment extensions.
Mr. Neo-Liberal rebuttaler neglected the fact that the invasion that killed millions, costs trillions and initiated on a provenly false claim of WMD and Al Kada that he also voted for is a war crime.

Rogues within the 911 truth movement will shill the presumption that hijackers flew the plane. Relatives, who work for the FAA, have told me that all "heavy" airplanes have remote piloting systems.
On Sep 10, 2001, Donald Rumsfeld admitted a 2.3 Trillion$ DoD accounting shortfall. That 2.3 Trillion was under the care of Dov Zackeim, DoD Comptroller and the CEO of the company that manufactured the remote piloting systems my FAA relatives informed me of.
If kerosene from jet fuel can melt really big steel beams like the ones used in the over engineered WTC, then all the steel boilers in NYC should have melted 100 years ago.

The area of the pentagon the alleged plane struck housed the auditing offices and exhibits investigating Dov Zackeim's embezzled trillions. All evidence was destroyed and the members of the audit team were murdered by the projectile that struck the Pentagon.
Larry Silverstein admitted twice to "pulling" WTC 7. The WTC towers were under an asbestos waiver when Larry Purchased them in 2009. Before WTC 7 was pulled, Ken Jenkin, NYC Building Commissioner, who passed under mysterious circumstances 2 years ago, report explosions and bodies littering the floor. Kenneth and an associate barely escaped before WTC was pulled. His associate is incommunicado.
Bin Laden denied several times (reported by CNN) that he was responsible for 911. The FBI claims it does not have sufficient evidence to indict Laden for 911. There were no Afghanis presented as hijackers. No Arab DNA found. In 2001 the Taliban had eradicated opium production. After the US invasion, it was reinvigorated.

The 911 commission did not report on WTC 7. NIST failed to mention Silverstein's confessed "pull" in their reporting of the reasons for the WTC 7 collapse, in which the NIST offered a never before witnessed, discussed or published phenomena of physics and thermal dynamics as the cause for the WTC 7 free fall collapse: Thermal Expansion.
Now that property owners know that office fires can cause the free-fall collapse within a building's "footprint", the multi-million dollar services of demolition companies, like Thompson's LLC, will no longer be a cost consideration. 911 put an entire industry out of work. A few rags and some lighter fuel in a waste basket is all one needs to demolish a building.
Lokis - no one of importance died that day? How do you judge who is important? I think all of those people were important to those who loved them.
9/11 truth may be the only that can save this country from its path toward corporate fascism. When and if people realize that the bankers, military-industrial complex executives and the real power brokers in capitalism did this to their own citizens, it will be time for heads to roll. I hope that happens before this country is destroyed and all off suck up to your corporate masters.

A constitutional judicial review of 911 facts maybe the only action that will prevent the talking heads in this pretense of government, and their welfare owners chairing the boards of American corporations from being lynched or strung up by their ankles as Mussolini was.
Lawlessness can work both ways. As it is now, through the crimes against the citizens and republic by the Beltway altar boy lovers and Wall Street Mafia, or when 300,000,000 Americans rise up and say "if the law won't protect our rights, it ain't going to protect yours!"

The problem with the "creeping shadow" known as the 9/11 "truth movement" is that its members don't want to hear the truth, and no matter how many blatant lies from the charlatans who fuel this nonsense are disproved, they still believe them. It's more a cult than a movement, and no new investigation will satisfy them.
We were attacked (again) by al Qaeda on 9/11, the towers and Building 7 weren't bombed, the NIST experts weren't part of the plot, and the planes really were hijacked and crashed right where the 9/11 Commission, mainstream media and tens of thousands of eyewitnesses said they were, despite profiteering pseudo-historians like Griffin and his ilk.
I have no idea what happened on 9/11 or who's responsible, but there are too many 'anomalies' to ignore, such as:
-- Bush ignoring the 8/6/01 PDB entitled: "Bin Laden to Attack in U. S."
-- The reports of many at the scene that they heard explosions on lower floors shortly after the planes hit.
-- Mohammed Atta's driver's license surviving the conflagration.
-- The collapse of bldg. #7 which was not hit by a plane.
-- The identities of those who bet on American and United airlines stock dropping just days before the attack; they walked away with a pile of money.
-- AG John Ashcroft being told not to fly on commercial jets in the summer of 2001.
The 9/11 Commission never really addressed any of these and other curious 'anomalies.'
