Repent!! Repent!!! Oh evil American people!!! Your time is at hand and your sins are being judged!! You have sinned and breathed today!! How dare you emit your carbon dioxide? You have committed the unforgiveable crime of LIVING!! This very facitious reality is the way pseudointellectual liberals view the very foundations of Earth's life cycle!! The Tennessean opened its doors to the "divine" Al Gore, who flunked out of divinity school. Gore's extensive interview with his former co-workers bears examination and analysis based on his own machinations
The first question asked of Gore states, "Are you preaching to the choir about 'global warming or are you getting converts?" In his reply, the former Vice-President states that there has been a shift in opinions worldwide, including in the United States, toward ever-stronger support for tackling this crisis and solving it? In the March 11th issue of the New York Times, reporter Andrew Revkin states, "Although a majority of Americans believe that the seriousness of global warming is either correctly portrayed in the news or underestimated, a record-high of 41 percent now say that it is exaggerated." Revkin further states that public opinion is declining "given the failing state of the American economy." (http://dotearth.blogs.nytimes.com)
Gore further believes "that the real changes beginning to unfold in the Arctic and the deeper droughts and the other manifestations long predicted by scientists are causing more and more people to pay attention and form a resolve to do something about it." The next question, "You talk about going forward quickly. How do we get people to collectively get involved?" Gore then states "The short summary is: WE as human being are predisposed to short-term thinking. And yet we also have the capacity to form long-term goals based on values and if there's a sufficient dedication to staying on course towards those goals." What are these goals and why doesn't the Tennessean ask what they are?
"It looks like next month's U.N. Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen might be in a little trouble." To this statement Gore replies, "the original goal of having a fully completed treay by the middle of December is now no longer a realistic goal, but there is a determined effort to get a binding political agreement among the heads of state to begin reductions immediately with specific commitments and then use that as the guideline for the negotiators to finish up their work over the following six months." In today's New York Times, Andrew Revkin further states that issues such as "how much the North is going to pay the South" continue to keep successful negotiations do occur. This lack of success may keep President Obama from even attending the Denmark event.
Gore also states that "we can't wait 20 years to start backing out this CO2 and the other global warming pollutants." "We have got to move quickly." The staff at Gore's former employer then state, "Look at how difficult it was to put solar panels on your house in Nashville." Al replies, "Yeah, it took over two years to do that." The Tennessean neglects to state what an eyesore the solar panels are or how much they may be devaluing his neighbors' homes. Also neglected was the fact that the Gore home collectively uses more power than any home in the city."
"Are we going to lose jobs if we have carbon taxes or cap and trade? Al replies, "Far from it." One of the bright sponts in the last year has been the development, the mergence of a consensus here and in the rest of the world that this is a job creator and lots of jobs Gore continues to believe that jobs will be created when the American people are being taxed into oblivion. True reality would tell you that jobs will be created, but not in these United States.Instead, they will be taken to "developing" countries. Once the American government takes over the energy industry, they will be the ones exploiting third world countries.
As this nation made its way into the recession, it became obvious of the untapped potential that exists within a free people. The utilities have made numerous inroads in developing technologies to help free us from the security risks imposed by accepting oil from the Gulf of Suez area. Several pictured a new industrial revolution in energy. However, this was before the election of those who seek to impose tyranny on the freedom of a sovereign nations and its citizens.
The Tennessean's editorial staff needs to understand the truth behind so-called "global" warning. Realistically, any warming of the planet would be due to increased solar activity in the star, which provides us daylight. It is that miracle, which allows all life on the Earth to live. To actually believe that Carbon Dioxide, a natural product of life, is a pollutant is really bizarre. The worst part of lying is those who start to believe themselves telling truth. The Gore family are fine people from what some say. That stated, that doesn't prevaricate the former Vice-President's lying and distorted facts just to pull in some cash. The reality of trying to tax a natural biproduct of Earth's life cycle is totally absurd.
Can a human being actually measure how much Carbon Dioxide he or she emits? The answer is no. How can a human being actually measure the air that they breathe? How can an industrial plant measure the carbon dioxide it puts out. Al Gore has created a scheme of ecological blackmail where a company can actually purchase further rights to pollute more from others. What ever happened to fairness and doing the right thing? Under our laws, justice is blind to any one person or entity and to be equally dispensed to all entities equally. Environmental laws are no different. To give one party preference over another is scandalous and should be prosecuted.
This nation is at a crossroads. Those in power are threatened by an informed citizenry. It is that threat liberals wish to eliminate. Al Gore has no evidence to offer in his so-called science of "client change" except to say that he believes it is. Weather patterns are not determined by pollutants and humankind not divine enough to order the winds to blow, the rain to come, or even adjust this Earth's atmosphere. Polar bears are not drifting around on flotsom in the Arctic Sea.
The Tennessean needs to tell Mr. Gore to return to the basics his father, Big Al and Ms. Polly believed. The parents had many relatives in DC at the time and would often stay in the home of mentors in the Tennessee delegation. One member of that delegation remembered Little Al as a nice, pudgy little kid. We can only pray the former Vice-President will stop trying to shake down others for survival. The American people are a good people and don't need to be destroyed for some sort of retribution by those who feel guilty for being free.
