Mesa Rep. Rich Crandall faces possibility of a re-call

The chairman of the East Valley Tea Party Patriots has filed a petition to have Mesa Rep. Rich Crandall (R), a two term member of the House of Representatives, re-called. The Chairman cites Crandall’s large number of absences in casting votes as the reason. According to analysis by the Cronkite News service, last year Crandall missed 254 out of 384 votes.

Apparently Crandall missed the majority of votes last June in order to tend to business in New York; his absences were excused by House Speaker Kirk Adams.

Crandall will be leaving the House of Representatives at the end of the year to pursue a seat in the State Senate, leading some to question the timing of a re-call.

Perhaps the point of a public re-call is not so much about removing Crandall from the House but rather to alert the voting public of Crandall’s questionable commitment to effectively represent his constituents. Voting on considerably less than half of the proposed legislation of last year certainly does little to recommend him as a representative for the people at the state level; it does little to recommend him, period.

Does anyone know where we can get a list of each of our elected officials voting records? Remember that in 08 we voted for someone who had a very limited voting record and now he is running the country. Wish we all would have paid more attention to this then…. Hope we don't make the same mistake in the future.

Our good friend Mr. Get "Richer" Crandall is sticking it to the tax payers again... this time he is short selling his $1.275 Million Dollar East Mesa Home for $550,000. Way to go "Get Rich" - your example and your promises are worthless. You have been weighed, you have been measured, and you have been found wanting! You can still make your house payment with ease, you've just decided you don't want to. Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous East Mesa Politicians!

If Crandall really cares about our district he should step down and let someone who has the time and desire represent us... but he won't! His ego is too big to let that happen.

Amen Brother. Anyone who doesn't show up for work half the time should be fired. Where can I sign the recall petition. Rich Crandall does not represent me or my family. I go to work every day to pay my taxes so Mr. Crandall can NOT SHOW UP! You've been weighed, you've been measures, and found wanting.

The following 4 REPUBLICANS voted with Democrats, who think THIS piece of legislation is what has made Arizona the national laughing stock:

    Rep. Adam Driggs, (R), LD-11, 602-926-3022
    Rep. Rich Crandall, (R), LD-19, 602-926-3020
    Rep. Vic Williams, (R), LD-26, 602-926-5839

1st, this ain’t th’ legislation that has made us the laughing stock of America…True Conservatives can factually TELL anybody that!

2nd, The “long form birth certificate” is a $36.00 document, in America. Why would the sitting president spend over $1,000,000.00 of his own money to NOT show it to Americans who want to see it? It would be a win, win, win for him & “Team Socialism”! Also, THIS IS ALREADY IN THE U.S. CONSTITUTION! Why we needed to even bring this up is a mystery to me. Why di

Rich Crandall has amassed a very impressive list of endorsements... mostly from millionaires, Union bosses, and career politicians. Very impressive indeed. Your list of endorsers are the "Who's Who" in why Arizona is in the mess it's in. I think you would do well Mr. Rich to stop worrying about what the "Rich-and-Famous" think about you, and start listening to the rest of us! You are way out of touch... and have been for a very long time. I'm voting for whoever is running against you!
