Cincinnati Tea Party concluded four-day protest on Saturday

On Saturday, October 24, Cincinnati Tea Party and Cincinnati 9/12 members came together for the conclusion of the four-day protest, "We Surround Him."

Tea Party report:

Saturday's rally began with members of the group surrounding the Carew Tower where Congressman Steve Driehaus' office is located.

After encircling Carew Tower while chanting "We Surround You," we marched to Fountain Square to hear featured speakers: Chris Littleton and Mike Wilson of the Cincinnati Tea Party and Congressional first district candidate Steve Chabot.

Congressman Driehaus was invited to speak but did not accept.

Here in Bel Air, MD, the Harford County seat of government, every Thursday two of us protest for two hours, 5:30 - 7:30, concerning the latest congressional attack on our civil liberties and economic freedom. We call ourselves the Corner Club. Over 3000 cars pass the corner we have selected usually with two or more people per vehicle. We decided that something needed to be done after the July 4th TEA Parties, so this is our answer. Join us in establishing your own Corner Club to educate Americas about what is happening to our country.

We can see that congress is still ignoring us, regardless of our efforts, so maybe we need to emulated the 1999 Tennessee Tax Revolt and take our message to OUR employees in OUR two Houses in OUR Capitol and tell them they are fired effect November 2010.
