Terrie Albano, talbano@peoplesworld.org, is a jobless journalist who currently volunteers as co-editor of peoplesworld.org to keep her skills sharp. Born and raised in Chicago, Albano moved to New York City in 1988, where she lived and worked for 13 years, before moving back to her hometown. She is a member of the Chicago Newspaper Guild, and has been active in grassroots political and labor organizing for more than 25 years.
