Like many public officials, Sen. John McCain's loyalty does not lie with the American people

During his failed 2008 campaign, John McCain once again proved his contempt for the American people as well as his disregard for U.S. sovereignty. McCain chose a man who argues for the takeover of the American Southwest by Mexico.

McCain appointed Juan Hernandez as his so-called 'Hispanic outreach director.' Hernandez was born in Fort Worth, TX to a Mexican father and an American mother. He served as the director of the Presidential Office of Mexicans Living Abroad under Vicente Fox. He holds dual U.S./Mexican citizenship and was the first U.S. born person to serve as a cabinet member of the Mexican government.

Many of you have probably seen Hernandez during one of his many appearances on MSNBC, CNN, or Fox News. Anytime the illegal immigration debate heats up, Hernandez begins making the talk show rounds. Looking not unlike a used car salesman, he sits in front of the cameras extolling the virtues of illegal aliens, while soft-selling the negative impact they have on this country.

Hernandez has worked for years lobbying U.S. governors to issue drivers' licenses to illegal aliens living in their respective states. While in his official role for the Mexican government, he pressured Western Union to lower or drop altogether their fees for wire transfers for illegal aliens sending money back home to Mexico.

Hernandez is an ardent supporter of the re-conquest by Mexico of the American Southwest, and hosted lectures on the subject at the Center for U.S.-Mexico Studies in Dallas which he founded in 1995. He once told Congressman Tom Tancredo (R-CO) that the North American Southwest "is not two countries, it's just a region."

Here are a few interesting quotes from John McCain's friend:

"I never knew the border as a limitation; I'd be delighted if all of us could come and go between these two marvelous countries."

"We have recognized that the Mexican population is 100 million in Mexico and 23 million who live in the United States...We are a united nation."

Mexican immigrants "are going to keep one foot in Mexico and are not going to assimilate."

"We are betting that the Mexican population in the United States ...will think Mexico first."

However, we should not be surprised that John McCain would be so closely associated with someone who advocates the invasion of the United States by Mexican nationals. After all, McCain himself has spent many hours working on behalf of those same invaders.

After the massive illegal alien protests of 2006, McCain made the following statement; "If such demonstrations continue, I think we will have a bill for the President to sign soon. The more debate, the more demonstrations, the more likely we will prevail."

Under McCain's immigration bill, even members of Mexican drug gangs would have been given amnesty by simply signing a statement in which they renounced their gang affiliation; the so-called 'background checks' that illegal aliens would have received were only of the 24-hour variety, which reveal very little if anything, and would have then been given a six month worker card. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents would have traveled the country handing-out amnesty applications to suspected illegal aliens (Not kidding!), and all immigration enforcement would have ended.

All this from the man who at the 2008 Republican National Convention, told us to “Stand up for America!”

The southwest doesn't legally belong to the United States. The historical record proves that no matter how you spin it.
That is why in the eyes of mexican illegals, they see the border as nothing but a fence put up in their own front yard.

The "aztlan" was bought for about a $Trillion in todays money. Of course the local dictator ran off to Europe to spend it,and the Owned media has been reporting otherwise to the mASSES ever since. And no, it will never be part of anything but the US, tho they may turn it into a cesspool.

OMG...amazing how many illiterates hang on to the "we didn't cross the borders, the borders crossed us!" First rule in debating is to offer a valid point...Texas beat Mexico then Texas joined the United States of America. Do they not teach truths in Mexico or is your allegiance compromised? At any rate, this whining untruth weakens the argument and says more about the person offering it as uneducated and even worse, promotes the demise of our country!

Laura, the only thing Mexico owned in the Southwest was rattlesnakes, scorpions and cactuses. If you want to give the Southwest back to Mexico then Mexico needs to pay for the roads, bridges, sewers, skyscrapers, airports and everything else,or they get absolutely NOTHING FROM AMERICANS. It's too bad we have people like you in this nation. You sure as hell don't care about it.

The southwest has been legally part of the United States since the time it purchased two large tracts of land from Mexico in 1848 and 1853.

McCain had really lost my support when he agreed with Lindsay Graham and Ted Kennedy that illegal alien mexican GANG members were eligible for amnesty. These illegal alien gang members are domestic terrorists. Why would McCain support these domestic terrorists who harm Americans???? And he's tough on terrorism? Does he hate America? He's completely out of touch with the concerns of the American people and is nothing but a big joke. Time for the voters to send him packing from the senate back to Cindy's mansion. Laura, you're evidently a recent product of America's public school system. The Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo did indeed settle this matter some time ago.

Speaking of Juan (Smiley) Hernandez and Juan McCain, I can't decided which I dislike most. Birds of a feather, and ready to welcome the third world to our shores. Let's hope the people of Arizona vote McCain out and maybe "dual citizen" Hernandez will seek the "Mexican" dream...in Mexico.

America 1st: I couldn't agree with you more. Between him, Jorge Bush, Teddy, and McCain's adviser Juan Hernandez, they just want to hand over the keys. There are thousands of gang members and organized crime members in jail being held on immigration charges that would be granted amnesty.

Juan Hernandez is neither an American citizen nor a "dual citizen" - US law recognizes no such thing. By assuming Mexican citizenship, Senor Hernandez has committed a de-naturalizing act; he's effectively renounced US citizenship. By accepting an official position within a foreign government, the act is especially clear-cut.

Another excellent piece by Gibby (I hope he doesn't mind my calling him that)! There is abundant proof why Open Borders pro-Amnesty John McCain is not a loyal American. This is but one example.

Juan McCain is a Progressive Obama Lite - he needs to go as he is destroying America. He even has his hands in the Colorado race for Senate. Jane Norton is a close, personal friend of his and he suggested she run for Senate. Beware, Norton is no conservative and is afraid to discuss illegal immigration. You just gotta know that if elected, she would support Juan's vote for AMNESTY. No thanks, Ken Buck is the real conservative but he needs money. Let's all help get him elected and send him to Washingon.

AMerica 1st, hell yes illegal alien gang members are domestic terrorists. There sure as hell, aside from Sept.11, haven't been any Arabs, etc. who have defaced public and private property with graffitti throughout the U.S., have fired guns from their cars at innocent people, have committed car theft, sold drugs, done home invasion robberies, etc. Hell yes their terrorists, otherwise we need a new definiton for the word.

Rudog, "white people" and their descendants built the whole United States of America. That's your real history, and not whitewashed. That's the plain truth. The whole world knows it, yet strangely enough, Americans never get taught it today because of the leftist stranglehold on the whole eduation system. Leftists don't care about the true history of the U.S., only their perverted version of it. In the leftist viewpoint, whites had little or nothing to do with building modern America, hahahaha.........It's so absurd it's funny to those people who know the truth. Foreigners must consider the leftists in the U.S. as being either insane or crazy, like you Rudog.
