A 17 -year old Mexican male surrendered to authorities and was arraigned in San Diego Federal Court Friday morning for the murder of US Border Patrol Agent Robert Rosas on July 23rd 2009. In a plea agreement, Christian Daniel Castro-Alvarez said through an interpreter that he illegally crossed into the United States and lured Rosas from his vehicle in order to rob him. A struggle ensued and the youth shot Rosas several times along with another person. Castro Alverez was also injured during the altercation. He claims it was an accident and his lawyer describes him as deeply remorseful.He plead guilty to murdering a Federal Officer during a robbery and aiding and abetting. He will be sentenced on February 19th 2010 and faces life in prison. Details of the plea agreement have not been released. The FBI is still investigating.

What kind of plea bargaining is keeping this guy from getting the death penalty?
Time to teach the Mexican government that any Mexican who kills any American in cold blood is going down permanently.
This not only looks skeptical, it looks like this kid was set up to take a fall for the real killers. A 17 year old kid doesn't just overwhelm a seasoned border patrol agent by himself and end up killing him with his own weapon.
So I wonder what it is they wanted to steal. When you look south of the border, they found an entire fleet of Mexican Military vehs, in the hands of the drug cartels along with bazookas and weapons for shooting down aircraft. 25 vehicles in all and the head honcho drug dealer told them that that is nothing.
Sure does make one wonder how nobody new they arrested him, so much for transparency in Govt. I sure hope that they release some more about this. A kid walks in and says I am guilty, in American court, on arraignment. What's really going on here. Like how long was he in custody, who beat the crap out of him, There sure is an oder coming off this.

His sentence? Probably in-state college tuition! Yet we continue to deal with this corrupt, violent and uncivilized country. How much longer will we pander?
