If Alexandria’s event was an indication of how popular anti-immigration tea parties are, ALIPAC has much work to do between now and next spring when the organization plans to combat the Democrats comprehensive immigration reform drive.
Only three dozen patriots appeared in front of Rep. Jim Moran’s (D-VA) district office. Moran came out in support of immigration, or mass amnesty according to the plans detractors, in September. That was all it took for first-generation American and Moran constituent Alex Aliferis to host the Alexandria tea party.
Moran “does not listen to his constituents,” Aliferis told examiner.com. “Hopefully he will think twice about supporting amnesty.”
Many of those at the event said they lived in Moran’s district. One was Donna Lewis. She voiced the feelings of several when Lewis said she didn’t think people who cross the border illegally should have the same rights she does.
“If the situation continues as it is, we are powerless unless we speak out like this,” Lewis added.
Kathleen Noel said she was a Democrat who is now an independent and immigration is her sole issue. Noel said she only does business with Americans who speak English now. She no longer tips wait staff who do not speak English.
“Cut off the funds and maybe they will go home,” she added.
While the numbers were small, several autos honked on North Fairfax St. showing support for the cause. There were no counter protesters. Each of the people examiner.com interviewed said they had papers.

I feel the reason behind most of our troubles and the need for TEA Parties is the government’s ability to print up whatever money it wants to manipulate us with.
Imagine you and me are setting across from each other. We create enough money to represent all of the world’s wealth. Each one of us has one SUPER Dollar in front of him.
You own half of everything and so do I.
I’m the government though. I get bribed into creating a Central Bank.
You’re not doing what I want you to be doing so I print up myself eight more SUPER Dollars to manipulate you with.
All of a sudden your SUPER Dollar only represents one tenth of the wealth of the world!
That isn’t the only thing though. You need to get busy and get to work because YOU’VE BEEN STIFFED with the bill for the money I PRINTED UP to get YOU TO DO what I WANTED.
That to me represents what has been happening to the economy, and us, and why so many of our occupations just can’t keep up with the fake money presses.
Guess it depends where one was yesterday. Attended a rally organized by ALIPAC in San Diego and it was a success. Then again Alexandria is a bit farther from the border than San Diego.
It's just getting started. 3-4 months from now anti-immigration protests will be in the news every day. Oops, I forgot about the Obama run media. Never mind.

Bob, That puts it a nutshell. FIAT money runs the world! From my info, JFK tried to control it. The other, more tangible part of the problem, is that our "reps" don't give a hoot about us. Time for alot of people to get active!

Impressive turnout!! Lou Dobbs is off the TV and a handful of people turn up for this nonsense. Looks like legalization is on its way. The issue has actually become boring. No ratings for TV means it will cease to be an issue. Hopefully by this time next year, CIR will be a reality of the past and this country can move onto other matters.
