Utah law enforcement gives illegal aliens a pass on employment related identity theft

In spite of massive illegal alien driven identity theft, Utah law enforcement officials largely tend to ignore this serious felony in order to maintain good relations with the illegal alien community.

Media, religious, political, business and law enforcement elites refuse to acknowledge the prevalence of these serious felonies and the devastating impact that they have on their victims while insisting that illegal immigration is no more serious than a minor traffic violation.

However, the fact is that an estimated 50,000 children have their good names being used and destroyed by illegal aliens for employment purposes.

It is also a fact that, according to State officials, 1,626 companies were found to be paying wages to the Social Security numbers of children under 13 years of age.

The Federal Trade Commission which tracks identity theft reports that employment related identity theft accounted for 16% of total identity in Utah in 2009.

Finally, according to a senior Social Security Administration official, 75% of illegal aliens are estimated to have a fraudulently obtained Social Security number which is a felony. This means that 75% of illegal aliens are committing felonies – not minor traffic violation type offenses. 

The perpetrators of these document fraud, forgery, perjury and identity theft employment-related felonies are primarily illegal aliens but they also include pedophiles and other sexual predators, dead beat parents, and criminals trying to hide previous convictions in order to get jobs.

In spite of these serious felonies, Utah’s senior law enforcement officials steadfastly refuse to arrest the individuals committing employment-related crimes including identity theft.

Rather than focusing on both those manufacturing false documents as well as on their clients, law enforcement efforts in Utah focus almost uniquely on those making and selling the false documents while giving the buyers and users of the documents a total pass.

It is rare for law enforcement to focus only on those providing illegal substances or goods while giving the users a pass. In Arizona, where over one million children have their identities being used primarily by illegal aliens, Sheriff Joe Arpaio actively pursues the individuals using fraudulent documents and stolen identities.

If the Attorney General, Salt Lake Police chief and other law enforcement officials handled other felonies like they do these illegal alien driven felonies, they would only arrest drug dealers and prostitutes while giving the drug users and the “johns” immunity from arrest and prosecution in order to maintain good relations with them.

Of course, law enforcement does not give drug users or the clients of prostitutes a pass. In fact, a North Salt Lake City attorney was recently arrested for purchasing drugs and a local police officer was arrested in a prostitution sting operation conducted by Layton, Utah police. 

The Utah Coalition on Illegal Immigration has made illegal immigrant driven, employment-related theft its key focus because of the serious damage that it does to tens of thousands of children who have their good names trashed, their credit ruined, and their medical records corrupted with life threatening consequences.

The Coalition constantly speaks out against law enforcement’s special treatment of tens of thousands of illegal aliens who are committing document fraud and identity theft.

The willingness of law enforcement to sacrifice tens of thousands of Utah children to illegal alien driven identity theft in order to maintain good relations with the illegal alien community is simply too high of price to pay, according to the Coalition..
