Vic Snyder Townhall second update

Just called Arkansas Children’s Hospital 501-364-1100 to confirm and get details. Vic Snyder will have a townhall meeting at 1pm at the Chairman’s Hall in the Sturgis Building Wednesday 080509. I asked them about the radio announcement stating the meeting was at 2pm. Bonnie from Arkansas Children’s Hospital stated that it was a 2pm and that it has been changed to 1pm. I also confirmed that the event would be open to the public. It has been recommended that people not go to protest in anger due to the fact that there will be ill children and their families at the hospital. Snyder decided to hide in a hosptial when he realized that he would face angry constituents. This is the same Snyder who accused his fellow U.S. Representatives from Arkansas of being afraid of him for not agreeing to an AETN debate that nobody would watch .  The story on that here= http://www.nwanews.com/adg/2009/aug/03/no-takers-climate-bill-debate-20090803/

“My good friends couldn’t find the time,” the seventh term Democrat said. “Apparently, they’re afraid of me.”

Other cowards are having town halls on sweltering asphalt in front of shopping malls.(Patrick Kennedy)
Guess they are hoping the elderly will do the government a favor and go ahead and die earlier that they have planned in the health care bill.
But this lowlife takes the cake.
Hiding in a hospital with ill children and grief stricken families.

Because there's no other reason to hold a town hall on health care in a hospital, right?

Actually a hospital (especially a children's hospital) is a very odd place to have a townhall meeting. It's obvious that Rep. Snyder is a coward hiding behind ill children. Too disgusting for words. Democrats can continue to play their little games but that doesn't change the fact that Americans don't want this crap sandwich that they refer to as "health care reform." Just keep it up, Democrats. We'll see how it works out for you in November 2010.

what happened today. i thought it was tonight. i am disappointed that i was not able to go. i do not care if it was at a hospital. the people at the hospital need to hear the truth. i hope he got an ear full.

HE SHOULD NOT RUN UN OPPOSED IN HIS NEXT ELECTION. someone must step up and get this socialist out of Washington.

was anyone there today that can give an update of what happened.

This may be the dumbest logic I have ever heard. Snyder attends a public meeting where the attendees are not screened in any way, and that's not good enough?

He and Ross fielded dozens of unscreened, challengin questions and stayed 45 minutes longer than scheduled to keep answering, but that's not good enough either.

Give me a break. What exactly were you all wanting to do to Ross and Snyder that you couldn't do in front of children?

    Bravo, my fellow Arkansans!!

    You made the news

"An unruly Little Rock crowd heckled and shouted at two Arkansas Democratic congressmen Wednesday, accusing them of supporting a government-backed health plan that would take away Americans' personal choice and freedom.

At one point, U.S. Rep. Mike Ross sat with his head in his hands while the crowd shouted. He and fellow Democratic Rep. Vic Snyder told audience members at a forum at Arkansas Children's Hospital that they wouldn't support a completely government-run, single-payer health insurance plan.

"But that's what Obama wants!" an audience member shouted, leading to more heckling."

Sammy---Dave Meeks is suppose to be running against "I'll vote my conscience". He was on with Dave on 102.9 FM the other day. Stay tuned.
