Local news agencies in Phoenix, Az have been able to uncover information that sheds light on Phoenix Police Officer David Salgado's own moral background. Officer Salgado has filed an injunction against the State of Arizona on grounds that SB1070 would require him to racially profile suspects causing him to go against his moral fiber.
According to news sources, Salgado's morality does not extend to collecting toys for needy children. In 1997, Salgado and his brother, Rick, were brought up on charges that not only did they steal toys collected by the W. Steven Martin Police Toy Drive, a non profit group that collects toys for needy families, but that they then gave the toys intended for the needy to children in their own families.
Rick Salgado was released from the Phoenix Police Department, while according to news reports, David Salgado was recommended for a 240 hour suspension. His personnel file does not reflect the incident, but after 10 years an officer has the right to ask that his record be wiped clean.
Officer Salgado is a 19 year veteran of the Phoenix Police Department. He and his brother are the only officers to have been accused of a crime of this nature in the past 25 years that the W. Steven Martin Toy Drive has been operating within the Phoenix Police Department.

If Salgado would steal toys meant for poor children he is without morals and would be capable of doing anything - you have to wonder if he is being paid under the table by drug cartels, pro illegal La Raza type groups, even the government of Mexico to contest SB1070. This man is a pig. The lowest of the low.
No one really knows all the facts entailed in this issue back 1997. And in all reality do some research on all Phoenix Police officer and throw it out there one step further Sheriff Joe Arpaio and tell me they dont have something they would rather not disclose. Of course, however, Mr. Salgado's pass history should and doesn't have anything to do with this current issue! If you dare convict a man from his pass then in that case we all should be convicted of something! He is entitled to his rights and so are you freedom of speech and 14th amendment! Think about people just something else for the media to print. Opinions are great but name calling is ignorance!!

Typical, narcissistic, amoral, above the law attitude from those who believe that illegal immigrants should not be held accountable for their crime or even have to think about the needs of others... always putting themself first. It's that "Me first" attitude ... but it is particularly reprehensible to steal toys from truly needy children at Christmas time. What a disgusting little man and what an enlightening view into the morals and conscience of a person.
Heard about this today on the Los Angeles Number One radio station KFI, John and Ken show, and they have a listener base of over a million people. So now everyone over there knows about this slimeball Salgado as well. Why don't the local papers, Arizona Republic and Tucson Daily Star publish THIS truth about this man? Oh yeah, I forgot they want illegals to flood into our country, they want illegals to murder us, rob us, rape us, and they too want to steal not just toys but our money, our services, our national security and our way of life. That is what this waste of human skin Salgado wants as well.
People get your facts straight, this is a case of guilt by association. Smart people can read between the lines and determine that this is just a plain lie. He clearly didn't do anything wrong, otherwise he would have been fired and where is the evidence? there is no evidence to support this claim. David Salgado is a great police officer who is standing up for his rights as well as the righs of Arizona. I refuse to be racial profiled.

Stealing from children, no excuse for that or for not firing these despicable brothers from the police force. Did Mayor Phil Gordon intervene so they could keep their jobs?

I hope that the REAL police officers who work with him, you know the ones who are not traitors to their country, are seeing to it that this racist is getting the artic reception that he so truly deserves. Who would want to partner with him except another racist anti American?
