2011 Hyundai Sonata - Photo (C) Hyundai
Want to know the hottest brand on KBB.com? Well, you’ve probably guessed by now. Interest in Hyundai has jumped 70% from May 2009 to May 2010, That represents 6% of the total new-car shopping activity at KBB.com (up from just 4.6% in January).
This represents good news from Hyundai, which would love to see its market share hit 6% in the U.S. market. It currently ranks 7th in market share at 4.4%. Obviously a 33% jump in its business would be a fantastic thing.
KBB.com said in a press release, “Hyundai's ongoing success largely is due to the popularity of its newly redesigned Sonata and Tucson models, which have seen heavy marketing support and consumer interest since the beginning of the year.” And, you may not be surprised to see that I just happen to have a Hyundai Sonata review and a Hyundai Tuscon review for you to peruse.

Comments
The new Hyundai cars may look better than the old ones (not hard to do). But they drive like crap. The engine in the new i45 is a drunken dishwasher and pray for your life if you need to turn a corner in one.
That comment on the i45 is typical of a person who doesn't know anything about cars. Stop hating on a good product.
Aussie - I can only go by what I've driven in the U.S. The new Sonata (your i45) is a smooth handling car from my perspective, with a powerful four-cylinder engine and great fuel economy. BTW, I love the image of a drunken dishwasher. I've driven a few of those, but not since the mid-80s, thank God.
