Religion in Malaysia: Muslims fire bomb Christian churches for 'Allah'. Four churches have been firebombed in Kuala Lumpur, the Malaysian capital, after religious tensions exploded over the use of the word “Allah” in Malay to describe the Christian God.
Last week a Malaysian court overturned a government ban on non-Muslims using the word "Allah" to refer to God. The ruling allows a Roman Catholic newsletter, the Herald, to use the term to refer to God in the Malay language.
The judgment by Malaysia's high court rules that the term "Allah" is not exclusive to Muslims. Judge Lau Bee Lan ruled that others, including Catholics who had been prohibited by the Home Ministry from using the word in their publications since 2007, can now use the term.
The decision has met widespread Muslim protests, up to and including the fire bombing of churches. It is but another example of the insanity religion inspires in so many.
What is odd is that most Muslims throughout the world have no problem with non-Muslims using the term "Allah" to refer to God. After all, "Allah" means "God".
The extreme opposition to the Allah ruling reflects a growing Islamization in a multi-religious, multi-cultural Malaysia. Last October a Shari'a court sentenced a Muslim woman who drank beer to be caned in public; in another incident, in November, Muslims enraged over the construction of a Hindu temple near their homes expressed their anger with a severed cow's head. They kicked and stomped on the head. Hindus, to whom cows are sacred, watched helplessly.

Im a Malaysian, its all over the news about these stories (sum of the reports have not reach the media even)- sadly this is very disturbing, and for surely violence is never condone here, the PM has assured to apprehend any known activity and the people responsible behind them.
The cow head part is also true (not broadcast to avoid any discomfort among a multi-racial country) protest against a temple being built close to a mostly populated Muslim town..as the local goverment could not find a proper and a better site to builtld on
The burning of Christian Churches is an outright sign of insecurity. However, is this what they mean by Islam is a religion of Peace? whom are those trying to fool? Themselves.
On second thought, if they hate Christians and Christianity so much why do they always seek refuge in Chritian Countries for jobs, support, security, food, and many other thigs they do not have? Those immigrants and so called refugees most ungrateful by all other means.

ARABS said their prayers the word ALLAH was mentioned, and so the origin of that most respected word worldwide is ARABIC, also according to history the presence of CHRISTIAN-ARABS in the Holy Land was first long before ISLAM. The Christian Bible was first
written in Arabic and the Holiest word of ALLAH originated.
The question is this With all due respect: How can Muslims or
any other Muslim nation for that matter forbid Christians from using the Holliest word in their Holy Bible ALLAH? When Islam came into existence many Holy words where used in the Holy Qur'an such as Syyedna Issa,(Our Master Jesus) Chapter of Mariam,
so on and so forth, the Holy Qur'an was based on the Arabic Holy Bible with a few changes of course.
