The forced vaccination clock that keeps on ticking
New York State Legislature is close to giving government authority to vaccinate children without parental consent. A NY Vaccination Choice group is asking for national support today to help prevent the fascist law.
Today, NY State Legislature votes in the Codes Committee of the New York Senate to override parental consent laws and give government authority to compel minor-aged school to receive present and future vaccines and drugs for sexually transmitted diseases without parental consent.
Louise Kuo Habakus, spokesperson of the newly formed New York Alliance for Vaccination Choice stated today that Senate bill S04779 passed the Senate Health Committee on January 20, 2009. It must now pass through a technical committee, typically Rules or Codes, before reaching the Senate floor for a full vote.
Habakus stated:
"The identical companion bill is in New York Assembly Health Committee, Assembly bill A6702-C. Movement in the Senate could place added pressure for the Assembly to get their bill moving...If it passes the Assembly, it will appear on Governor Paterson's desk for his signature to become New York State law.
"In 2009, the governments of the world brought vaccines for the swine flu pandemic to all our communities. New York State mandated the seasonal and H1N1 swine flu vaccines for a large segment of healthcare workers. (It was later withdrawn by Health Commissioner Daines due to supply constraints. Some believe it is more accurate to credit the potential involvement of the healthcare workers' unions, the ACLU, and legal action filed.)
"Selectively, hospitals and other healthcare environments across the country mandated the shot for their employees. If healthcare workers are on the front lines of the infectious disease/personal rights battle, who's to say that teachers and police officers are not next in line?"

S4779 Talking Points
Oppose S4779 (and A6702) which permit ALL present and future vaccines and drugs for sexually transmitted diseases to be given to New York children WITHOUT parental consent
- These bills remove parental rights for all New York parents
- If a child has a drug or vaccine reaction, the parents won't know what is happening or how to help
- These bills apply to ALL children - there is NO age limit
- A child's has a limited capacity to understand pharmaceutical drug and vaccine risks and identify side effects they may experience
- Unknown vaccine administrators don't know the child's medical history, vaccine contraindications, allergies, and past vaccine reactions
- Children unknowingly are giving up their legal rights when asking for a vaccine because Federal law (PL 99-660) removes liability from vaccine manufacturers and doctors for injuries and deaths caused by vaccines
- The HPV vaccine, which this bill would include, has already been associated with thousands of reactions and dozens of deaths
- The open ended language allows for any future vaccines for STDS to be given without parental knowledge or consent - coming soon and already in the research pipeline are vaccines for Syphilis, gonorrhea and HIV.

The pharmaceutical industries have millions of dollars buried deep inside our politician’s pockets, it sickens me. It’s getting to the point of - for the corporation by the corporation and screws to the people!
This is truely a fascist law and I hope the people of N.Y are smart enough not to fall for this Nazi scheme. Then again, you get the government you deserve and if you people are stupid enough to keep re-electing these corrup, evil morons, well, deal with it. I just feel sorry for your kids.
I suggest you look up the history of progressives because that's who is behind this legislation.
What a ridiculous article. This bill doesn't make the vaccine mandatory, it simply lets teenagers REQUEST the vaccine in the same way they are able to request birth control, and emphasizes in the same way they must be able to have the mental facilities to consent. The emphasis that "there is no age limit" is obviously intended to inflame readers with the image of 9 year olds in forced vaccination lines in schools. I'd read the actual bill itself before you accept this woman's take on it as gospel. If you still think it's fascist, then fair enough, but at least make up your own mind after seeing the facts. Otherwise you're as brainwashed as the people you're accusing of blindly going along with the government.
