Human rights and peace group leaders have drawn plans for mass American rallying Saturday, December 12 in Washington D.C. and in Los Angeles in response to Obama's soon to be announced troop escalation in Afghanistan.
Despite evidence that U.S. presence in Afghanistan is harming U.S. national security; causing less respect for Americans by others globally; and impacting troop suicide rates at an all-time record high, the "change" president insists on killing more people in Afghanistan, mainly innocent civilians, prompting mobilization to show him and the world non-support for the new long-war president.
In protest of Obama's plan to maintain status quo, Cynthia McKinney, Sen. Mike Gravel, Kathy Kelly, Chris Hedges, David Swanson, Coy McKinney, Debra Sweet, Mathis Chiroux, Lynne Williams, Hon. Betty Hall, Elaine Brower, Marian Douglas, Michael Knox, Ralph Lopez, Ron Fisher, with a message from Granny D (turning 100 years old) and music featuring Jordan Page are leading a mass rally In Washington DC.
The following is the announcement about the rally:

That is so much BS! Innocent people? Harming national Security? If the dumb presient were to actualy allow the generals to do what they were sent to do (like vietnam) the war would be over. 68,000 troops fighting in a hostile country is not enough.
Exactly where are your sympathese these days?
Did you know that 1000+ soldiers have reenlisted for another tour of duty over there. The same people that have ALREADY served three years under fire, and actualy WANT TO RESTORE PEACE to that miserable hole 3rd world 18th century country.
Get your facts straight lady. There are many more people out here that support our troops, and the war, than the one's that don't.
When was the last time that YOU sent a christmas card to a soldier, or sent a care package to some 19 year old troop serving YOUR FREEDOM!!!??!
Give it a break-this is a stupid article, you should remov eit before you loose your readers-and that would be ME!
Our troops are misled; we have a corrupt government. The destablizaion of these countries for globalization, creating a new world order, joining the U.N., and destroying our Constitution...the troops should come home and protect our borders, and send those back to their country who are here illegally.
Got something to say?
