Big brother's terrorizing stalking habit legal unless Patriot Act replaced

 

The Bush-era terroristic stalking program called 'domestic spying' could end but only if citizens immeditaely demand replacing the Patriot Act.

The Patriot Act has been used to 'spy on,' or stalk American citizens, innocent targeted individuals, without warning or warrants since 2001. 

This act enabled widespread and allegedly too often violent stalking or spying by numeous agencies and contractors with high tech equipment.

This same act disempowered victims by providing no legal recourse.

The Patriot Act must be reauthorized this year.

Congress is debating whether to just update the notorious act, or replace it with new regulations that restore the rule of law and protect all citizens from being spied on by their government.

Some conservatives are trying to use the same fear and confusion used in the psyop of 9-11-2201 to ram through a renewal of domestic spying before the public even knows what's happening.

"We've seen this before and we can't let them get away with it again," says Drew Hudson of TrueMajority / USAction .

TrueMajority is encouraging Americans to tell members of Congress to replace the Patriot Act

with sensible security laws that defend our rights.

"Let's not forget how the Patriot Act was first passed: In the days after the September 11th terrorist attacks, the Bush Administration convinced Congress to rubber stamp a radical expansion of domestic spying operations," Hudson advises.

Officals said these new rules could prevent the next terrorist attack. But later, we learned that the Patriot Act was used to tap our phones, read our emails and even pry into our library records without due process.

Hudson says, "Now, we've got a chance to undue those mistakes, and turn the page on Bush's legacy

of spying on any U.S. citizen the government deems to be a threat."

Changes won't happen by themselves

Senate Judiciary Committee Chair Pat Leahy (D-VT) has already introduced a bill to re-up the Patriot act with only small improvements.

A better bill called the JUSTICE Act has also been introduced. JUSTICE would make it harder for the government to pry into our lives without a warrant, and give us the right to challenge our accusers in court if they go to far.

"Tell your members of Congress we've had enough of Bush-style domestic spying. Tell them to replace the Patriot Act once and for all, and support the JUSTICE Act instead," Hudson asserts.
