Brittany Murphy's shocking death this past Sunday was made extra creepy by the realization that promotional photos for her upcoming film 'Deadline,' feature a series of pictures of Brittany Murphy passed out in a bathtub--the same way that the young actress died.
Brittany Murphy, who earned her place in Howard Stern Show history through her humiliating red carpet interview with Howard Stern Show celebrity antagonizer Gary Garver, died from cardiac arrest on Sunday December 20th.

The movie poster and DVD cover for 'Deadline' has been recalled, but copies have already spread across the internet like wildfire. The 'Deadline' movie poster is creepy enough, showing Brittany Murphy laying in a bathtub with a thousand mile stare, but the production stills posted on IMDB are even worse, including shots of what looks a lot like a dead Brittany Murphy being lifted out of a bathtub.

Brittany Murphy's oft-played Howard Stern Show celebrity red carpet interview clip features the late actress babbling incoherently about her feelings regarding Liza Minelli and how Minelli "owns the stage like nobody's business," followed by Gary Garver's perfectly delivered response: "So--why do people think you're crazy?" Brittany Murphy was just lucid enough to realize that she was being made fun of and moved on down the press line, but the interview is now a Howard Stern Show classic.
In a 2005 Howard Stern Show 'Hot or Not' segment, Howard Stern said that he could only ever think of Brittany Murphy as "the chunky girl from 'Clueless', no mater how much weight she loses." Sources from various media outlets have speculated that Brittany Murphy struggled with eating disorder issues.

I was in a DVD store today and I saw the cover of this movie. I didn't even hear about this movie until today and it was a little disturbing to see the cover of this dvd. Worst thing is I really wanted to buy it (coz I see everything Brit is in, she's a favorite in my dvd collection. Last one I bought was Ramen Girl)but I didn't, of course. R.I.P. Brit! I've enjoyed watching you over the years especially the comedic roles.
