Howard Stern says he offered to appear in a Sirius XM promotion with Oprah Winfrey when the media queen first joined the satellite radio provider.
Stern revealed the tidbit on Monday morning's Howard Stern Show during a blistering rant about Winfrey's apperance in the Super Bowl ad with Dave Letterman and Jay Leno. Winfrey apparently turned down Howard Stern's offer before even entertaining the idea with a meeting. Howard Stern says he suggested that he and Winfrey either appear in an advertisement or appear together on the Late Show with David Letterman to show the diversity of programming available through Sirius XM.
Oprah Winfrey wasn't having it.
"She really is a creep," said Howard Stern of Oprah before launching into an extensive rant about Winfrey's lack of commitment to and promotion of her own Sirius XM channel Oprah Radio. "I would have done it for the company."
Oprah Winfrey's $50 million Sirius XM salary has become one of Howard Stern's favorite pet peeves to get charged up over in recent months.
"I hate Oprah and I hate that she takes ten cents from this company," said Stern.

Howard going off on Oprah earlier was great. I liked the part where he said they should take her laugh and loop it. Her laugh would be from her getting $50 million from Sirius and doing absolutely nothing for them. Great stuff!!
Jeez, Oprah!
I hope Sirius gives him nada, AI turns him down and he goes off into obscurity. Dirty nasty man.
I'm cold...someone fetch my shall...
