Howard Stern says Glenn Beck 'Restoring Honor' rally was just one big 12 Step Meeting [PHOTOS]

Howard Stern says Glenn Beck's 'Restoring Honor' rally this weekend was nothing more than a massive 12 Step Meeting.

Stern made the comments on Monday morning's Howard Stern Show in response to the tidal waves of news coverage of the rally over the weekend.

"They're listening to a drunk lecture them from his 12 Step Program," said Stern of the estimated 80,000 'Restoring Honor' attendees.  "That's so unfair.  The poor bastard who teaches the 12 Steps--he can't make a dime.  Glenn Beck earned $31 million dollars last year retreading the speech but giving it at the Lincoln Memorial."

Stern said he's all in favor of Beck's message of "turning to God."

"You have to turn to God?  Good.  By the way, I'm all about that.  More people praying to God and keepin' 'em docile and in line, that's fine.  What's wrong with that message?  Even Martin Luther King would approve of that."

"Wasn't he a drunken zookeeper who went to rehab?" he hypothetically asked of the attendees.  "You went to a 12 Step meeting."

Howard Stern then spoke in the voice of Glenn Beck: "I was a broken down drunken zookeeper and now I'm giving a 12 Step Meeting at the Lincoln Memorial, 80,000 people showed up and people are writing about me and whether I should be the President of the United States."  Stern then added: "I mean, the guy should be thrilled.  What a success!"

Howard Stern also had some words of wisdom for those whipping themselves into a frenzy over the 'Restoring Honor' rally.

"You really want to upset Glenn Beck?" Howard Stern asked the attentive liberals in his audience.  "Ignore him.  Stop talking about the guy."
