Howard Stern hosts Rodney King and Simon Aouad (video)
The Howard Stern Show returned from vacation Tuesday morning with 90's police brutality star Rodney King and non-entity Simon "Renegade" Aouad in the studio as the featured guests. Rodney King was in Howard Stern's Sirius XM studio to talk about PCP, sobriety and his upcoming "professional" fight with--of all people--a cop.
Rodney King's main purpose for appearing on The Howard Stern Show was to promote an upcoming fight against former police officer Simon "The Renegade" Aouad. Simon Aouad claims that he was thrown off the police force because he couldn't "follow the rules". Howard Stern acted as the de facto Don King, encouraging trash talk between the two Z-list stars.
"I'm gonna beat you so bad Rodney, you're gonna wish you were in LA" said Simon Aouad limply. Simon Aouad currently makes his money running his parents' pizza business, but also states "I break bones for a living every day."
Rodney King seemed unintimidated by Simon Aouad's threats: "I've trained for this for three months," said Rodney King proudly.
Rodney King gained "celebrity" in 1991 when his beating by Los Angeles police officers set off a citywide riot. King has also worked with friend of The Howard Stern Show Dr. Drew Pinsky when King found sobriety on TV's Celebrity Rehab.
Rodney King will fight Simon Aouad at the Philadelphia Airport Ramada Inn in this Friday night at 7:30PM.

Simon really sounded like a fool on the Howard Stern Show today. After watching him train I would love to have a go at him in the ring. He talks a great big game but clearly has no actual boxing skill. Watch his shadow boxing one more time.... He throws his left twice after every double. I've got him figured out already...
Man he talked about how much of a beast he is in his work outs. I work out harder than that on a daily basis before work. LOL. Wow, I can do pullovers with a 55 pound dumb bell. I use an 80s and 100s and I'm not claiming to be a beast. They show him doing about 10 inclined push ups in which he breaks form after about 5 LOL!
Did you also notice he never broke a sweat during the video, which shows it's not an actual work out video but rather a staged act? And he runs like a girl too! LOL.
Normally I don't go around smack talking anyone's workouts, but no wonder Rodney didn't seem to take this smack talking tool.
I"ve been to a couple of Simon Aouad fights and they did not last too long.. He usually knocks them out in A couple seconds... I got my money on The renegade.. Trash talking makes the fight 10 times better...

simon is a toolbox - he talked so much crap on the howard stern show how he was going to kill rodney - trash talk is for losers. so the guy who said "trash talking makes the fight 10 times better" youre as big of a loser as tiny simon. simon has zero boxing skills - zero. watch his unimpressive video - sure, the guy is built to fight - as a street fighter - that look, ink, trash "lame" talk is for amateurs, not ringside. rodney kept his cool and his controlled demeanor (hey trash talk, define demeanor) and stressed that he as been training like a pro for 3 months, has been clean, and is keeping on the straight with his family and fiance. what does simon have? a lame mohawk. glad rodney prevailed.
