Columnist baits Howard Stern with Artie Lange insults

Artie Lange is a spoiled brat and Howard Stern's reaction to his violent suicide attempt is unacceptable, according to celebrity sleazhound Chaunce Hayden.

In a 'Steppin' Out' magazine (and reprinted in the 'Village Voice') article entitled 'Stern's No Bro' the gossip columnist blames Howard Stern for not responding to Artie Lange's "cries for help" earlier and states that if Stern were really Artie Lange's friend he would be keeping vigil by his bedside. Hayden mercilessly poked fun at Artie Lange's suicide method and severe depression and then called Howard Stern a "faux friend".

The jabs are clearly an attempt for Hayden to score a reaction from Howard Stern. Any attention or mention of Hayden on the Howard Stern Show would have brought him huge publicity despite Hayden's description of the show as "once popular". Unfortunately for Chaunce, Howard Stern avoided mention of the article completely, seeing through Hayden's revolting publicity stunt.

Hayden, a one time friend of the Howard Stern Show, has antagonized Howard Stern for years since Stern stopped featuring him on the show.
