'Big Man' Clarence Clemons visits The Howard Stern Show
Saxophonist Clarence Clemons visited The Howard Stern Show on Wednesday morning to talk about his memoir "Big Man: Real Life and Tall Tales." Clarence Clemons has been a member of Bruce Springsteen's "E Street Band" since 1972.
Clarence Clemons told Howard Stern almost everything the King of All Media wanted to know about the life of a rock and roll saxophone superstar. Clemons had no trouble answering Howard Stern's question of "what's the most women you've been with at one time?"
"Six," replied Clarence Clemons without missing a beat.
The hornblower-turned-author was more reluctant to answer Howard Stern's questions about tension between Clemons and Bruce Springsteen's wife Patty.
"She's a very nice person," said Clemons with what sounded like practiced diplomacy.
Clarence Clemons had no kind words, though, for the folks at American Idol. Clemons said that Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band would never participate in American Idol. disapproved of the idea that someone is made into an overnight superstar and believed that careers develop over time with a lot of hard work.
It looks like next season's Adam Lambert won't be 'Dancing in the Dark.'

Didn't know he had a book out. I assume it's ghostwritten, like %99.9 of all celebrity bios these days, which all sound like they're written by the same person.
