Pottery Barn's eclectic parat bowl mirrors (no longer available) were made from antique Indian mixing bowls and sold for $79 each.
Reflective surfaces like mirrors are recommended for bringing light and the illusion of space to a small urban apartment. Fortunately, there is a DIY option to knock off Pottery Barn's clever mirror.
Nikki, the blogger behind Nikki's Nifty Knacks, shows you how to make a similar set of mirrors using thrift store wooden bowls and dollar store round mirrors. Nikki also used one larger round mirror from Hobby Lobby, liquid nails from Walmart and a dollar store hanging kit. A set of five bowls cost less than $12 to make.
Nikki simply glued the mirrors inside of each bowl and attached a hook to the back.
