Simple pedicure design: Jessica Cosmetics happy go lucky

In celebration of the hot summer weather, each week I will feature a quick and easy pedicure tutorial. This week, Jessica Cosmetics is the featured must have pedicure polish of the week. Zoya's Dana orange polish (Summer 2010 Collection) is also used as an accent color. Get your supplies together and follow these easy steps to create the perfect pedicure design at home!

 

Things used:

 

 

Steps:

  1. Apply a base coat to toe nails


    1. If your nails do not have smooth surfaces:

                                                    i.     Lightly buff the nails with a yellow manicure block

                                                   ii.      Use CND’s ridge out as the base

 

  1. Apply two coats of Jessica


    1. Let the polish dry for 10 minutes

  2. Apply Jessica  diagonally across the nail
    1. Let polish dry for about 2 mins
  3. Apply Zoya Dana to top right corner of nail

  4. Using the black nail art polish


    1. Draw two lines outlining half of the:

                                                    i.     Bottom border of Jessica

                                                   ii.     Top border of Zoya Dana

    1. Make sure the lines do not touch and they do not have to outline the entire area

  1. Using the white nail art polish


    1. Draw two lines (in a crossing manner) across the previously drawn black lines

  2. Use the silver glitter nail art polish to accent the


    1. top white line

    2. bottom black line

  3. Finish off design with Seche Vite quick dry top coat
