With Labor Day weekend just around the corner and grilling season winding down,Ball Park Franks has released a list of the top 10 American cities that consume the most hot dogs. Each listing also includes what toppings the city residents are known to dress their dog with; does that mean the toppings are more important than the dog? Share your thoughts on your favorite toppings and regional dogs below!

9. Miami/Fort Lauderdale, FL: avocado, lettuce, pineapple, and mojo sauce

7. Boston, MA: mustard and relish

6. San Antonio/Corpus Christi, TX: Monterrey Jack cheese, salsa, and chopped jalapenos

5. Chicago, IL: yellow mustard, neon green relish, chopped raw onion, fresh tomato, a pickle spear, and a dash of of celery salt on a poppy seed bun

Is it really necessary to put bacon on a hotdog? To be honest I'm not even a really big fan of "Chicago" hot dogs...mustard, onion, and relish is all that should dress a hot dog...in my opinion!
