Tara Phillips has been a registered Radiologic Technologist for over nine years. As a traveling technologist, she had the opportunity to work at several facilities nationwide, including three university hospitals. She is currently a part time staff technologist at a San Francisco Bay area children's hospital, and hopes to combine her personal experiences as a medical professional with her love of writing, to help readers understand what to expect when facing a visit or stay at a healthcare facility. Tara has returned to school in pursuit of a BA in English. When she's not writing, working, or doing homework, she enjoys singing with local musicians.
