I have it under good authority that Die Monster Die will be showcasing some of the songs off of their new album in these shows. Speaking of the new album, I had a chance to talk briefly with Shane Diablo, the drummer for the group, regarding the progress of their upcoming album release. Here is what he had to say:

Recording is going well, the album is in its final recording stages, we have all of the music finished, and are working on vocal and backing vocals and then we will move into the mixing and mastering stage. Once that is complete the album will be ready to press - we are still working on artwork for the album, and still don’t have a title for the album. Here are a few of the song titles:
She Looks Like You
Covered In Blood and Dressed Like a Whore
Lika The Space Dog Will Have Her Revenge
Deep Space Isolation Psychosis
The Dead Shall Inherit the Earth

The album will have 18 songs on it, including a remake/cover of the Rolling Stones song: Dead Flowers.

Although there is no official release date for the upcoming album, the time is growing near. Make sure to check back here for updates, or visit Die Monster Die’s official website.
