New and Improved Logo! Artist: Corey Graham
There have been many exciting happenings recently as it relates to the Salty Horror Film Festival! Things really seem to be coming together.
As you can see, the first major change has been the official logo. Corey Graham, host of The Midnight Podcast was kind enough to donate his time to create the new logo.
Secondly, to provide some recognition for the film festival, Salt Lake's own Cadaver Lab Podcast discusses the film festival in their Episode 40. Also, at the end of the episode, there is an interview with Mario DeAngelis, the creator and organizer of this event.
The first set of photos have been taken. Many of which are of Miss Salty Horror, the event's spokesmodel. These photos should be available on October 1, 2009, which is the date that the new website for the film festival will have its debut.
Itt has been confirmed that Harry Manfredini will be making an appearance. Manfredini, as if this needs any explanation, has scored a plethora of horror films including most of the films in the Friday the 13th series, Wishmaster, and House... along with many others.
Finally, the first promotional trailer has been created and is available for viewing! Take a look:
