"The Infected" is the first planned episode in a series of indie zombie horror film shorts with the working title of the "Zombie Chronicles." The ambitious project comes from WhatAreTheInfected's producer & direcor Marvin, who may or not be one of the infected. The first film in this series of horror shorts in the zombie world is mostly complete, and now the filmmakers are searching for a sound track. They are seeking something in the same vein as
John Carpenter's "Halloween" or George Romero's "Dawn of the Dead." Unfortunately, as with most independent movies, there is no pay involved, other than a finished copy of the film and screen credit. Attention horror filmmakers young and old: there is a distributor currently seeking out horror features for distribution. Do you have a just-made low-budget classic that you finished that hasn't been released? What about a project that you filmed some time ago and just gave up on? Here is a potentially golden opportunity. Aside from looking for someone to compose a scary soundtrack, and the search to distribute independent horror flicks, here's another chance to get involved with a monster movie on a whole different level. A 3-D computer artist is needed for a New York City independent horror film. A production company based in Manhattan is searching for a modeler/rigger to finish creating a third "mutant" creature for their independent horror film now in post-production. We don't have the film's name yet, or specific details, but if you have already created such a creature, they will consider accepting one for the film that has already been created, as long as it hasn't been used anywhere yet.
