The Vampire Ball of New York is one of the longest running events of its type in the world. This event served as the first ever vampire/Vampyre-themed event on the East Coast and is featured in Katherine Ramsland’s book "Piercing the Darkness." Started in 1996 at the original Bank nightclub and now celebrating its 14th year, the NYC Vampire Ball commences the countdown to the Endless Night Festival in New Orleans on October 30th, 2010.
The Ball returns to Manhattan Feb. 14 in time for Valentine's Day -- but it's an anti-Valentine's Day event. The Ball has been held at legendary venues such as Limelight, Mother, Coney Island High and the Bank (the original name of Element), and since 2006 has returned to its original home of Element NYC, located at 225 E. Houston Street. This amazing three-floor completely renovated venue has an amazing sound system and great dungeon space in the basement called "The Vault."
Tickets are $15 in advance via Paypal and will be available at Gothic Ren at 104 4th Avenue. Door tickets (if there are any left) will be $20 in dress-code and $30 out of dress-code. There are a limited number of tickets so please get them in advance, as the attendance is limited to 999 patrons. 21 and over only.
