Tahiti's Bora Bora: Discounted couples packages make it easy

Just announced by Tahiti Tourisme North America: discounted couples packages to the world's most romantic island, Bora Bora. The 7-night Couples Retreat Special includes:

• Round-trip economy airfare from Los Angeles (LAX) on Air Tahiti Nui
• One night, standard room, at the InterContinental Tahiti Resort
• Six nights at Bora Bora's Le Maitai Polynesia with an ocean-view room
• Daily American-style breakfast in Bora Bora
• All transfers, including the domestic flights to and from Bora Bora
• A flower lei on arrival

The price: $1899 per person, double occupancy.

There are two variations on the best-value, 7-night Retreat described above. One variation is shorter and less expensive; the other is more luxurious (and costs more).

1. For $1699 per person, you can sign on for a 5-night Retreat. You'll get a garden voew room on Bora Bora instead of the ocean-view room.
2. For $2639 per person, you can upgrade your hotels on the 7-night Retreat. You'll stay at the Hilton Hotel on the island of Tahiti, and on on Bora Bora you'll havew a lagoon view suite at the Hilton Bora Bora Nui Resort & Spa for 6 nights.

And here's the fine print: The package must be purchased by November 23, 2009. Valid dates are from  November 13 to December 11, 2009, and from January 12 to March 31, 2010.
