Heifer Village in Little Rock offers home school enrichment programs

The homeschool enrichment programs offered by Heifer Village in Little Rock give homeschoolers a chance to learn about other cultures and challenges faced by global communities. Students will learn about what they can do to bring about positive solutions to these challenges.

Located in Little Rock, Arkansas, Heifer Village is a non-profit organization dedicated to alleviating hunger and poverty around the world. Homeschool students will have a chance to explore the communities around the world where Heifer International works.

Four sessions of "Explore the Needs Around the World"  are available. Students ages 8 to 12 can sign up to attend one or more of the sessions. The fee is $10.00 per child. Each session will be divided into age groups: ages 8 to 10 and ages 11 to 13. The sessions are as follows:

  • February 24: The Americas (register by February 17).
  • March 3: Central and Eastern Europe (register by February 24).
  • March 31: Africa (register by March 24).
  • April 7: Asia (register by March 31).

Classes are from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. To register contact Heifer Village by email or call them at 501-907-COWS (2697).

Early registration is suggested. Classes fill up quickly and are limited to 20 children per age group.
