Fall into math: activities for preschoolers

Here are some fall math activities for your preschoolers.

Leaf Sequencing: The following 6 links will take you to printouts that you can print, cut and use. (Each tree will have the corresponding number of leaves on its branches.)
Trees 0 - 1
Trees 2 - 5
Trees 6 - 9
Trees 10 - 13
Trees 14 - 17
Trees 18 - 20

M&M Tree: Use the below link to print out the tree. M&M's will be added to each dotted circle to create the Fall leaves on the tree. Have your child use the yellow, red, orange, brown and green M&Ms, the blue ones are free to eat! After the tree is completed, work with your child to count how many of each color is on the tree. If you would like to add an additional activity, create a simple graph to show how many of each color was used. M&M tree

Fall Grid Work: Below are 2 links. Open and print each worksheet, one will be a grid, the other will give grid coordinates. Use the coordinates page to fill in the corresponding grids on the other page to discover a picture!
