I have found that YouTube has some awesome tools for homeschooling. My favorite is Khan Academy which teaches math through YouTube videos. Here is a sample video
The History Channel also has a presense on You Tube with 248 videos availble for your viewing leasure. Here is a sample.
There are also numerous foriegn language tutorials... this one is more fun than instructional:

Hey Thanks for this! We're homeschooling in GA. We use youtube for lots of videos too. Our favorite is 'bill nye the science guy'.
My daughter doesn't learn well with the typical 'book and worksheet' style of learning, so you tube is wonderful for us.
These are great resources we use youtube and other video sources even for teaching my preschoolers and find it very useful.
