Nichole Hirt has lived in Pittsburgh for 22 years where she has been working as a freelance writer for more than 10 years. She currently assists local Veteran's of Foreign War posts in locating and aiding homeless veterans and their families. She is a two year seminary student and has worked closely with various homeless initiatives and ministries in the Pittsburgh and suburban area.
